The Colombian national team received a heroes welcome when they returned to Bogota on Sunday following their loss to Brazil in the 2014 FIFA World Cup quarter-finals. Tens of thousands of fans cheered the time as they passed by on the team bus before they gathered on stage to deafening applause. 



Colombia had their best ever World Cup campaign, with the team making it to the quarter-finals for the first time in their history. The Colombian team lost 2-1 to Brazil on Friday.
