Thousands of citizens thronged the streets of Argentina’s capital of Buenos Aires on Monday, as the defeated squad flew home after losing the World Cup final to Germany on Sunday night.



The players met with Argentinian leader Christina Kirchner at the 48-hectare Predio de Ezeiza estate, owned by the country’s football federation.
