It might sound awkward but it actually happen in Northern Ireland’s championship match between Ballymena United and Dungannon Swifts. One of the defender from the home team caught accidentally the ball inside the penalty area believing the referee whistled to stop the game due to a team player’s injury. Having no other choice, the referee awarded Dungannon a penalty kick but coach and leader Murphy missed it on purpose!
