Sergio Garcia
Garcia had a great record at Barcelona B scoring 34 goals in 60 appearances however he found his chances at the senior team limited and thus left Barcelona for Levante on loan and then switched to Zaragoza following a permanent move in 2005. Garcia was linked to many Premier League clubs like Liverpool and Spurs but those deals never materialized for Garcia who currently plays for Espanyol now.
Thiago Alcantara
Thiago Alcantara is a player possessing the flair like the Barcelona great Ronaldinho with the added ability to make killer passes , a trait embedded into every La Masia player. Thiago burst onto the scene in early 2010 and looked to become a great at Barcelona. His performances in the succeeding friendlies were highly appreciated as he scored a great goal vs Manchester United in friendly.
Thiago’s growth was stunted by constant injuries which stopped him from getting a good number of games especially in the 2010-11 season. Thiago currently is playing for Bayern under Pep Guardiola and is currently injured with a knee injury.
Gui Assulin
Gai Assulin was the youngest player to play for the Israel national team at the tender age of just 16. He joined Barcelona at the age of 12 and a lot was expected from him. Assulin is good at dribbling and possesses a great ball control. However his development was stunted due to injuries and joined Manchester City in 2010 after failing to make a single league appearance for Barca.
Gai didn’t have much luck at city either and now plays for Mallorca in La Liga.

Giovani currently plays for Villarreal in La Liga scoring 11 goals in 32 games.
