Lionel Messi is an icon for Barcelona. But his recent statements created doubts on if he is going to stay in the team! 

Messi said: “If it is in my hand i will stay in Barcelona. I want to keep playing for the team and win titles. But in football… you never know what comes next. Some things do not happen like they way we want them. You do not always get what you want and changes happen. It is complicated. Football makes many circles. Although i always kept saying that i will stay until the end, sometimes things do not go like you want. I repeat that if it is in my hand, i’d like to finish my career in Barcelona”. 

Spanish media also make things shady. Spanish radio station “Cope” said that Barcelona wants to sell him in 2016 and that Messi does not appreciate the Barcelona’s president trust! Also there are rumors that Messi is jealous on Ronaldo’s relationship with Real fans and he is kinda frustrated with all the attention Neymar gets as a possible Barcelona leader. 

Also president Rosel seems to think that Messi is responsible for the bad atmosphere in Barcelona locker rooms!

Then again, Messi is an important player for Barcelona. His sayings could have been misunderstood.
