80 Milner hacks down Rose and goes into the book for a tackle from behind.

80 "The race for forth becomes the race for fifth for Spurs…what a scenario! Good for us Liverpool fans," says Given Mawodzeka. Ten minutes to go at Eastlands.

79 City appear to have found some composure, with Spurs' threat waning. Tevez is getting stripped off on the touchline, meanwhile.

Substitution78 Crouch makes way for Defoe.

77 Toure goes down under Corluka's challenge but no penalty says the referee.

77 Silva nods in Dzeko, who has a run at goal only for Dawson to recover and put him off at a vital moment. City earn a throw.

76 Spurs are preparing another change is seems, with Defoe taking some orders.

75 A drop ball following a lengthy injury to Rose, sees City reclaim possession.

Feedback@Presto182 hasn't given up hope just yet: "As a Spurs fan in LA no one else in the pub understands why I am screaming at the TV…awkward, Spurs 2-1 in the end!"

72 Silva, City's only real attacking threat at the minute, sees his cross deflected and easily cleared by the Spurs defence.

71 Corluka finds Lennon, who keeps it alive via some toe taps. Spurs need to cut the fancy stuff, though, there's goals to be scored.

70 Gallas is down injured again, this time after an aerial duel with Dzeko.

69 Spurs break immediately but their move also breaks down. The game is a little stretched since the change.

68 City produce their first meaningful attack of the half but Silva falls at the last.

67 Does that move suggest Mancini wants to play out the remainder under pressure? Very Italian, but who's to doubt him, Spurs lack a killer edge.

Substitution66 City have reacted first, with Vieira replacing Johnson, to boos from the away support.

65 Tottenham are playing some nice stuff, but without creating many clear cut chances, you have to wonder if Harry will make a change while his side are on top of the play.

64 Plenty of Stoke fans e-mailing in urging City to seal the deal here. Liverpool fans, meanwhile, have not yet given up on fourth – they want a Spurs comeback.

63 The Dutchman strikes it against the wall, but his team-mates collect the rebound. Spurs must make this pressure count soon.

62 Pienaar can't control Crouch's knock-down but Modric collects and draws a foul from Dzeko. Dangerous position with Van der Vaart lining one up.

61 We've passed the hour mark and Spurs are by no means out of this one. City look a little more composed after taking their time with a goal-kick, though.

FeedbackAndrew Bruce has been in touch: "Not sure how high the horse Dominic Smith is riding but Man City offered reduced rate tickets for the game tonight, with even cheaper available for kids…too bad I'm typing from Canada or I would have snapped some up myself." Oh dear, what have I started?!

59 Spurs fans are making themselves heard in the corner, their team are still pressing but Van der Vaart allows City off the hook by blazing over from just outside the area.

58 Richards stays tight on Crouch, City are defending well but Tottenham are having all the play.

Substitution57 De Jong flies in on Pienaar but no foul says the referee. Meanwhile, Kolarov replaces the injured Zabaleta.

FeedbackCalvin Rawstron believes Spurs will turn this around with Crouch making amends with a brace in the right end.

55 Silva does his defensive duties well in stopping Sandro's powerful run. Meanwhile, Zabaleta's nose is still heavily bleeding.

54 Pienaar is forced back to retain possession.

53 Zabaleta has a blood injury and must receive treatment on the touchline. City temporarily down to ten men.

52 Zabaleta is flagged offside from Dzeko's pass.

51 De Jong shows good composure to fend off Van der Vaart.

FeedbackDominic Smith has responded to @Urbanfox70: "These days the fake, rich City fans only like attending games that they think they will win. As well as that tonight is a prime example of how as a growing team's ticket prices skyrocket the real fans struggle to attend. Dark days for football."

49 Dzeko tracks back to win possession for his side.

48 Spurs are not out of this game, they've made a lively opening to the second-half with Lennon looking particularly dangerous.

47 Great start by Spurs but an even better one by Hart, who pulls off a fantastic one-handed save from Pienaar's header.

46 City re-start the game, can Spurs turn this one around? Keep the comments rolling people.

Feedback Liverpool fan Stuart Hannon has been in touch: "As a Liverpool fan, the "obvious" thing would be to hope for a City win as 4th is a bit farfetched. But I'd LOVE to see Spurs turn City over tonight, then have them both lose the last two."

Feedback Greek Petros Idreos has been in touch with some insight about City's celebrations: "The celebration that City do with jumping up and arms across shoulders backwards – this celebration came from Greece from the football club Paok Thessaloniki, they have been doing this for over 35 years."

FeedbackTom from Toronto asks: "What's the point of playing Sandro AND Palacios? Might as well play two strikers and go for it at this stage, Harry!"

FeedbackJames Pinnegar believes Spurs will lose players of there is no European football next season while Richy B blames the injury list all season.

Feedback@crystalcjv says: "Following the comments made, I just feel Harry has not been sure on our best team all season, upfront or in goal."

Feedback@Urbanfox70 has questioned the home support: "This game is supposed to be important! Where are all the fans? Poor form!" Not sure of the official attendance just yet Mark, but will be confirmed in our match report after the game.

Spurs were finding their feet before the City opened the scoring after an inventive corner got the better of Crouch. Tottenham withheld pressure in the aftermath but failed to make the most of their good finish to the half.

It's been a lively affair at Eastlands, where Man City look on course for a top-four finish, with Peter Crouch's unfortunate own goal gifting them a half-time lead of 1-0.

Half Time45+4 Half-time at the City of Manchester Stadium.

45+3 Crouch looks for the run of Van der Vaart put can't quite find the Dutchman with his knock-down.

45+2 Don't forget to get your e-mails and tweets sent upon the break. Spurs are still pressing but Van der Vaart's effort is simple for Hart.

45+1 …and they have four minutes to make this pressure count after a string of injuries.

45 Van der Vaart's corner is cleared well but Sandro floats it back into the box. Spurs are finishing the half well but really need to get off the mark before the whistle.

44 Rose does ever so well to turn Richards inside out and earn a corner for Spurs.

43 Gallas has shrugged off a minor injury after some on-field treatment and his team are now on the ball. How they could do with an equaliser before half-time.

Feedback@Charliefitzh has had his say: "Overachievers Spurs blown it big time this season. No Champions League again for years (if ever) & their big players set to leave."

41 Lennon is stopped in his tracks by Lescott, who is having a fantastic game at the back.

40 Cudicini collects and plays a short one as Spurs look to regain some composure.

FeedbackJack L has poked fun at Crouch's misfortune: "Harry's been complaining about the lack of goals by his strikers throughout the course of the season. Bet now he regrets saying that!"

38 Crouch shows his frustration and is penalised for a foul just inside the City half.

37 Silva streams forward and is urged to shoot, he does so, narrowly evading the crossbar with a shot that was always rising.

36 A vicious ball in from Milner is just too high for Dzeko, City are getting closer to a second.

35 Dawson mops up more danger for Spurs, who have another mountain to climb if they're to stop City claiming that fourth spot.

34 There were many predictions for Crouch to get himself on the scoresheet and you may pat yourselves on the back. I can't see the bookies paying out though!

33 City sense a second with Tottenham on the ropes. Gallas gets a vital foot in though.

Substitution32 Indeed, Pienaar has had to replace Palacios as Spurs restart the game.

31 Palacios has an injury concern to add to Tottenham's woe. They were just about on top prior to that corner.

Goal It's unfortunate for Crouch, as City play the corner short, Milner receives in acres of space and drills it low and hard into the six yard box where the England striker's attempted clearance comes off his shin and beats Cudicini.

Goal30 OWN GOAL CROUCH!!

29 Johnson's trickery wins a corner at Rose' expense as City hit back with an attack of their own.

28 Big, big chance for Spurs and you'd expect a player of Modric's quality to burry that. Lennon flashes a cross-field pass along the surface and the oncoming Croat, completely unmarked, bends a zipped effort wide to the right.

27 Quick thinking from Rose spots the run of Crouch from his throw-in, but the striker half-volleys into row z.

26 The visitors are now arguably on top, certainly in terms of possession. City pose a real threat on the break with Johnson though.

25 Zabaleta boots clear but Dzeko's knock on fails to find a team-mate. City are let off the hook soon after, though, with Rose getting his cross all wrong.

24 Lescott blocks Lennon's cross and concedes a corner. He did well to match the winger's pace there did Lescott.

FeedbackIan Blackwood has had his say: "Expect Crouch to score here. Kompany left too many free headers at the weekend. Crouchy will bang one in. Silva has been excellent as well. If Dzeko can get up in front more, it'll make a tight game."

22 The corner comes to little, with Richards dominant in the air. The visitors, though, are beginning to cause some problems for City.

21 Lennon sees his effort blocked from close range before Modric wins a corner from the follow up.

20 Silva's control lets him down for once as the Spaniard receives a pass with his back to goal.

19 Lennon looks for Crouch at the back post but the big man can't win the header somehow.

18 Milner collides with Dawson in the box and the home fans scream 'penalty' but, quite rightly in my opinion, play is waved on.

17 Modric collects and cleverly retains the ball for Tottenham.

16 Sandro runs into traffic in the shape of Kompany, but his hoofed clearance merely gifts Tottenham back possession.

15 Richards strays offside and Spurs can regain some composure from the free-kick.

14 There's a good atmosphere amongst the home crowd and their team are on top, but with nothing to show for is so far.

13 Van der Vaart is okay to continue and the hosts win back possession, but Milner miscues his cross and Tottenham have a goal-kick.

Feedback@leejhinkle has tweeted: "I second Keir Luke's thoughts on Gomes. Redknapp should spend some good money on a keeper. Would've saved this season and CL qualification."

12 Van der Vaart goes down in a heap after an aerial challenge from Milner.

11 Lescott eventually picks out Silva, who cuts the ball back across the face of goal for Dzeko, who drills an effort straight at Cudicini! Big chance for the opener.

10 City are in possession with Lescott looking for an opening.

Feedback9 Yaya Toure tries his luck from range but fails to make a decent connection, screwing his shot well wide to the left.

@didot01 has been in touch: "I see this as a draw Today with Tottenham coming from behind. Probably 2-2, with Silva and Dzeko for City."

7 A positive attack from Lennon on the counter earns Spurs a throw at the opposite end.

6 Johnson spots the run of Richards but the full-back can't cut the ball back across the face of goal and must instead settle for a throw-in deep in Tottenham territory.

5 Gallas, under pressure from Dzeko, does well to control a route one pass and mop up the danger.

4 Tottenham's frontline is flagged offside and Hart prepares to launch the free-kick up-field.

3 Sandro halts a run from Johnson and the Londoners are back on the ball.

2 City gain possession from Lennon's poor throw-in and begin to stroke the ball about to find their feet.

1 The visitors get the ball rolling at Eastlands!

Keep the comments coming folks, I'll post more views throughout, kick-off is almost upon us.

FeedbackKeir Luke believes time is up for Gomes at Spurs, he says: "He's been terrible all season, bad performances vs Madrid and Chelsea plus giving away a pen against Blackpool, glad to see Cudicini back though."

Six points behind City with three games remaining, Spurs must win, and they need to do so without goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes, who was replaced by Carlo Cudicini after apparently picking up a back injury. Do you believe Harry? I'm not sure I do.

Carlos Tevez is named on the bench as Manchester City take on Tottenham at Eastlands tonight knowing victory will secure a place in next season's UEFA Champions League, or at least the qualifying rounds, who knows?
