Well, thank God we haven’t seen many injuries so far this year and the ones we have seen are not that bad. This one though, turned out to be quite ugly.

In the game between Boca Juniors and Newell’s Old Boys, Paraguayan defender Martin Caceres tried to get the ball for his opponent with a bold try. He managed to kick the ball away in a good defending move but fell during his try. When he put his hand on the ground in order to make his fall easier, he injured himself quite badly. As shown in the video he was in serious pain, holding his arm. His join in the elbow got the worst of the injury.
